HP deskjet 2512. The ink carriage is able to move back and forth on its own but it just keeps giving me the signals that the carriage is stalled.

Reset the product
Try the steps in the document --'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays
If the issue persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer
