Hi!

I purchased replacement cartridges for my hp 7740 printer. They are compatible and not original. After having delivered the comparison on the registered display "One or more missing or damaged cartridges". And I can't print. Also, due to this error I am unable to update the firmware with the latest one.

What can I do to use my printer? Or Should I throw it?

If the issue still persists, try inserting Genuine HP ink cartridges.

Just done..

Not solved.

I tried to insert original cartridges, but nothing..

I think I will trash this printer and buy one from another brand

I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding this as this could be a hardware issue.
