With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

This is what your employee writes! And other HP comments are the same!

Is there a storage device in a simple power cord? Or a quantum entanglement that requires to disconnect the power cord from both ends?

Maybe I should disconnect my fridge and toaster at the same time, just to make sure....

Did you guys not pay attention in physics? This is RUBBISH! That shows how little people at HP understand about electricity let alone printers.

  • What is the exact issue with the printer?
  • Are you experiencing issue with the  power cord?
