I have an HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless all-in-one printer, scanner, copier, fax. A week or so ago we had a real paper jam. We cleared the paper jam, but ever since keep getting false paper jam error messages. There's no paper jam and no debris in the printer.
I've tried the hard reset previously posted here but we still keep getting the false error messages.
Any other suggestions? Thanks.

In removing the jam you may have either jammed or damaged one of the paper path sensors. These sensors are activated by a flag in the paper path so you will need to look closely at the path and make sure any flags you can see move freely.
