i forgot my password for my officejet pro 8620 printer. How can i retrive my password

Since this model of printer is a consumer model by default it has no password. Since you set the password and don't recall the password or have miss placed the password you will have to preform a reset on the print. It will reset it back to default settings. Please follow the steps below to do this.
- Turn your printer ON
- With the power ON, disconnect the power cable from the rear of the printer
- Leave the power cable disconnected for 30 seconds
- Plug the power cable back in
- The printer will start back up on its own
