I have cleaned the print heads multiple times; I am not getting any error messages; the ink shows that they are full.  I have gone through the HP program; had the laptop do the check of the system; ran the various checks; when I printed the sheet to check status, I only get gray tones; no black, ditto for checking alignment.  When I print anything, unless there is color on the sheet for anything, it is completely blank.  I have tried to print documents, PDF's from emails, etc.  All blank.  My printer is 2-3 years old; in a vacation home so not used extraneously.  We have managed to go through a significant amount of ink, but think living part-time in AZ, it might be the heat that dries up the ink??  I did obtain more black ink, but for the $$$ would like to be able to get the current NEW ink cartridge to work.  The printer did work fine until ran out of black ink.  Suggestions??
