I am trying to reset the printer because the embedded web server page is lock by a user and password box. It seems a hard reset may solve the problem. Unfortunately, I did not find any logical reset that would solve the problem nor there is a reset password option on that embedded web server page ?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the password reset.
Let's try these steps to restore the network settings to defaults - Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
If the issue still persists, I have sent you a private message with the additional steps. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
