Hi all, new member here. There is a LOUD squeaking sound that happens intermittently and only when I hear the parts moving back and forth as the machine is getting ready to print.  I see numerous posts re: this problem. I spent a LONG time with a useless phone tech support person who had no idea what I was talkign about and ultimately offered to replace the machine, but it's only a few months old. Could someone please guide me as to the source of the problem? Or is it able to be solved? I've seen some posts here about taking the cartridges in and out? Replacing them altogether (expensive)? Any help appreciated!

@DebFeb, Welcome to HP Support Community!

The sound issue is usually caused due to any mechanical wear and tear in the printer. This could be a possible hardware issue and if your printer is still in warranty, you can opt for a replacement.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
