My printer is printing horizontal white line.  I've cleaned the printhead several times and calibrated the linefeed several times.  I've also reset the printer by unplugging (from the wall and printer) 2x.  There seems to be no changes.  The printer says the printhead is in good health.  I don't know what else to do. Please help!

Are you able to copy? Do the cartridges have enough ink?

  1. Load plain white paper into the tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to scroll to Setup, and then touch the Setup icon (). The Setup menu displays.

  3. Swipe the display to scroll to Print Reports, and then touch Print Reports.

  4. Touch Print Quality Report. The printer prints a test page.

Let me know how this report looks.

 

Use an automated tool to align the printhead.

  1. Load plain white paper into the tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to scroll to Setup, and then touch the Setup icon (). The Setup menu displays.

  3. Swipe the display to scroll to Tools, and then touch Tools.

  4. Touch Align Printhead.

  5. After the printer prints the alignment page, touch OK, and then recycle or discard the alignment page.

If the issue persists, replace the ink cartridges and check..

Hello,

 

No, I am not able to copy. There are horizontal white lines when copying as well.

 

I use HP Instant Ink and the cartridges are brand new, so it shouldn't be the ink.

 

I've also aligned the printhead several times.  Nothing works.

Appreciate you trying the steps. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
