hp Envy 5052 printer serial no. [edited].  How do I turn off (shutdown?) the printer whn it is not going to be used?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Try these steps to turn off the printer - 

 

Press (the Power button) to turn off the printer. Wait until the power light turns off before unplugging the power cord or turning off a power strip.
