Hello, @gridin69 – Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! I’m glad to help with the printer issues!

I see that you are trying to contact the HP phone support to get the cartridge replacement options.

HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.

(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.

(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.

(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

That should help. Let me know!

Cheers 🙂

I have already tried all the things you suggested.  I am an older person and would really appreciate talking with someone on the phone.  I bought an Envy 5055 and messed up the colored ink cartridge that came with the printer,  so I had to use a brand new cartridge that I bought at the store.  NOW the setup continues to tell me "use SETUP cartridges that came with your printer".  I CAN'T use the colored one because it is ruined.   I can only use a NEW one.  It continues to take me in circles telling me the same thing over and over again.  The cartridge is inserted correctly.  If I cannot get help with this and continue getting STUCK with it repeatedly telling me to use the cartridge that came with the computer, I am going to have to take the printer back to Office Depot tomorrow.  It's not worth the frustration.  I cannot use something that continues to take me around in circles.   I REALLY would like to talk with a human being.   Thank you.
