Product: hp envy 5540 printer
Operating System: iOS

How or where do I find the wi-fi direct password for my newly purchased envy 5540 printer. This is required so that I can print directly from my ipad. It's driving me crazy that such an important yet simple piece of information is proving so difficult to obtain.

By reading the User Guide it says you can view that by printer out the Network Config sheet from the printer.   You can do that from the front panel.

I'm surprised it's so hard to set up the wireless connection to the printer. I would have thought it would be straight forward. I just can't get it to work so maybe I'll just have to use it with a cable.
