How to I reconnect my HP Photosmart C4385 All-in-One Printer-Scanner-Copier

Get the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page.  Run the software, choosing "Wireless" or "Network" installation type when it asks.

Make sure that USB cable is not connected when you start the software.   The sofware will ask you to insert a USB cable temporarily to commnunicate your network info to your printer.  Insert it and remove it when the software instructs.

Hi indyohio1192

On page 24 of the manual it  will provide how to restore the network defaults.

This url shows you how to setup the wireless.

Still confused.  Prinetr was set-up and working fine yesterday.  ATT came in and put in new wireless router and new password to wireless.   I am trying to make that chnage to the C4385 Printer.  Neither link helped me with that?    Do I just need ot reinstall the whole printer again?

Hi indyohio1192

When you have a new router you have to restore the printer defaults and setup the wireless again on the printer. After restoring the printer network defaults you can uninstall and reinstall the printer software.

This will put you on the new routers network settings and you will be able to print over the network.

Hi DanH1962

With other computers you would just run the uninstall and reinstall the printer again through the software. Should find the printer since already on the network.

Here is a url to uninstall the software.

Here is a url to install the software.
