ink 364

I purchased new ink cartridges and they just arrived yesterday. I put the new cartridges into my hp deskjet 3520 printer but for some reason only the cyan and pink cartridges seem to be working. The black and yellow cartridges are not working. I have done various tests to check why the ink is not working but for some reason it is not printing anything in black or yellow. I have come to a conclusion the cartridges are faulty.

Most likely the printhead is clogged or defective.

Have you tried all the steps in this link?

I have tried all the steps in this link and they have not worked ? So more than likely the cartridges are faulty?

Easy test, touch the bottom of the cartridge(s) to a damp paper towel, do you see any ink?

No there is no ink i personally think these cartridges are faulty as they did not have enough ink in them to start with hence the cyan and magenta were also printing faded and the black and yellow have not printed at all.
