Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi, my hp 4620 printer, after a paper jam, visualized on the screen the message "cart jammed". However i checked the cart and it can move without problems. Also the engine seems to work because when i switch on the printer it makes a little move towards the left side. I have also took it apart to see if there was something broken inside, but everything seemed to be ok. So i don't know how to solve the problem. Thank you.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are having a false error message on the printer. This could be due to the faulty sensors. 

 

If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document and the issue persists, please contact our HP Support team for Service Options as it could be a possible hardware issue:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
