HP envy 4510
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my hp envy 4510 will not print in color from my laptop.  it will from my phone.

diagnostic test pages will print in color

i have followed all instructions to un-install and re-install print software without success.

The print quality setting section does not have the black and white toggle button (on and off) that used to be there.

I am pretty sure I have used it before, but it is no longer there.

Did you try deleting the HP driver at root level?
In the search box on the taskbar, type Control Panel and select it from the results.
Select Program and Features
Select your HP Printer
Select Uninstall
Open Devices and printers
In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer.
If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'
Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
Type printui.exe /s and click Ok.
Click on the "Drivers" tab
Look for HP Printer driver.
If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
Select Ok
Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
Close Devices and Printers
Reboot your computer

yes.  I tried all that and nothing worked.

I was able to resolve the issue by adding the printer using tcpip.

Thanks for your help.
