I have found this same "HP Instant Ink cartridges will no longer work after my final billing cycle. I will need to purchase regular cartridges" on the cancellation screen for HP Instant Ink. My preference would be to have a public statement around what this means and not have private chat / direct message. Please define and state what this mean. It appears to mean that HP  will remotely disable my printer from using the ink (specifically HP Instant Ink cartridges) currently inside of it.

Hi @TG_

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Cancellations are effective after the last day of the current billing period. Once your account is cancelled, you will have to replace the Instant Ink cartridges with the regular HP ink cartridges. The HP Instant Ink cartridges are specifically designed for the Instant Ink program and it will not work once the account is cancelled.
