I am deliberating between ink efficient and ink tank printer. this is for home use.

 

a) is there any minimum number of pages that one needs to be print on a weekly basis in an ink efficient or ink tank printer to ensure that ink doesn't dry up? which of these printers have a higher risk of ink drying up? 

 

b) in an ink tank printer, once we have filled up the ink, is there any period i.e. 6 months within which we need to ensure that the ink is fully used?

 

c) other than the higher initial cost of an ink tank printer, what are the other drawbacks of an inktank printer vs ink efficient printer?
