Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

have followed all of the resets shown on HP support. Appears that 932 setup cartridge is in failed condition. The printer seems to think the 932 setup is leaking. Removed and checked and cleaned cartridge and carrier inside printer as accessible from front. Have a used 932 setup from another install, but not accepted. have new HP 932 cartridge that will also not be accepted during initializing of printer. cannot not print status or test pages. Any ideas? Can I buy new black 932 setup cartridge? Will it recognize as not shipped with printer?

@algea3, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • The ink cartridges that go with the printers are setup ink cartridges that are designed to initialize the printer.
  • These ink cartridges are not available in local stores.
  • The error message cannot be bypassed in this model printer.

Please contact our HP Support team for Service Options:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
