HP officejet pro 8715
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Actually we were using an HP Officejet K5400.

We are printing on size 100x200mm for special document for production.

This printer is dead and we bought on new HP officejet pro 8715.

When we try to print our label we receive message below :

support error : support nor corresponding (i translate  but it's in french originaly)

It seems that since the printer was updated automatically to last firmware WBP2CN1919BR.

We can not print.

There are no much paramaters to change for the size of the tray.

And i don't know where to always accept to print even if the size is bad.

But finally i would like to return to the original firmware but i don't find how to do it.

This morning we do a semi full reset without success.

I wait your news

Best regards

Welcome to HP support community.

There is no option to roll back firmware.

However, you can customize the paper size while printing.

Refer this HP document for more assistance:- Click here

I hope that helps.

Hello,

Thank you very much for your response.

But it's incredible to no be able to recover the firmware before the update.

Should update it again with old version.

Now i'm trying to find only the driver for Windows without all the application and all software.

Or better just the folder with the inf file.

Is it possible to find it ?

Best regards

Yes, try uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling

Perform root level uninstalltion to remove all the printer related software's.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.
  • Restart the PC again.

Download and install printer full feature driver

Click here to download the driver.

I hope that helps.
