hi guys,

just been gifted a HP ENVY 5032 printer without any "SETUP CARTRIDGES",

we have installed brand new HP genuine cartridges and gone to set up the printer on our desktop and now getting this use setup cartridges error code?

obviously we were totally unaware these would be required to set up printer and was wondering is there anyway we can bypass the setup cartridge error code as we have just spent £50 on new cartridges for the printer?

Today I purchased an HP OfficeJet 5212 in Des Moines, IA.  I got home, 50 miles away, and when I got home there were no cartridges in the box.  The box did not appear opened or damaged when I got it.  My printer is an hp Officejet 5212  **edited  PRODUCT  NUMBER Z4B18A.  I have the receipt and the proof of purchase if needed.  I would copy and send to you but ….you know!  I went to the local Walmart and found they do not carry and cannot get this printer.  My option was to return the printer, which I didn’t want to do, or take back to the Walmart in West Des Moines, IA.  We found online that they didn’t have any in stock and it said discontinued.  I opted to purchase printer cartridges which were not cheap.  I installed the cartridges and the printer still says “Use SETUP Cartridges that came with your printer.  I have run troubleshooters and even added a printer cable to see if that helped.  It did not.  The printer is still not recognized.  I also used Print and scan doctor.
