my 4650 jams with photo paper and I have cleaned rollers, etc.

It gets stuck- document jam. If i print a photo on plain paper, the print quality is excellent. I use HP paper, I've cleaned rollers, reset, etc.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet 4650 Printer. I understand that you are getting paper jam issue and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

 

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well

 

Clear any jammed paper from the printer.

Make sure the carriage can move freely.

Use automated tools to clean page smears.

Manually clean the paper feed rollers.

Reset the printer.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. , disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

       NOTE:

    HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  8. Turn on the printer.

Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.

No, it did not work.  This is my main reason for buying this printer.  It is brand new.
