Problem:

I've been experiencing the same issue...the troubleshooting tool provided by HP does nothing...personally, I will never purchase another HP printer ever...I'm pretty sure this is some intentional "glitch" in the software to burn up ink so I will have to purchase more...there have been a multitude of times in the past few months that I woke up to ten, sometimes twenty pages of the same image (a unicorn), which btw was an image my stepdaughter printed over 6 months ago and randomly prints...no particular pattern time-wise, just spoiradically...the only way to get it to stop is to shutdown the laptop which she uses...it has current/updated anti-virus (WebRoot), and I have scanned numerous times since, also took it to BestBuy GeekSquad to have any malicious code removed...it still prints...the print que is BLANK, but it still prints...**bleep** dude!!!

Fix:

Do not EVER PURCHASE HP products!!! (note to self)...unless HP reimburses me for $100 worth of ink...no negotiations!!!

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums,

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

They will contact you shortly and likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (such as serial numbers and case details).

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts to help you out, mark my post as Accepted Solution.
