my printer doesn't produce output from my win 10 laptop, items are stuck in the queue. I get messages that the printer requires attention. I tried running the troubleshooting software, which tells me it made some changes and I should restart. I've done this with no effect. I've downloaded the latest driver 3 times, again with no effect. The printer works fine when I print from my phone. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Did you uninstall printer driver from root level?
If not follow the below steps:
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.

- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.

Thanks for your reply. I followed your instructions. The only small thing i needed to add was to power the printer off and on. After that printing worked!!!! Thanks for your solution, this problem had been killing us.
