Hi folks, just checking if this is now resolved?

Thanks, Ciara

I just purchased an 8600 a few months ago and went to change the cartridge for the first time and got the error message 'cartridge damaged" on 2 new cartridges and even the old one I took out. Then I went to the blog and everyone else has the same problem. Please help. Debbie Schrader       [Personal Information Removed]

Hi @bellaschrader

I'd be happy to have a look into this with you Smiley Happy

If you haven't already, I'd recommend that you try the steps within this An 'Ink Cartridge Failure,' 'Incompatible Ink Cartridges,' or 'Ink Cartridge Problem' Error Message ... document.

Let me know how those steps go and if the error changes at all!

I have done it all several times and when it boots up, still says the cartridges are damaged. I just bought this about 8 months ago and this is the first time I am replacing the black cartridge.

This is under warranty I think. What is the next step? Would I send it back?

Thanks!

I'd actually just recommend that you call in to our phone support team and they should be able to get this resolved for you 🙂
