How do I override the "use setup cartridges" error?  I don't have them and just want to be able to use the printer without having to subscribe to Instant Ink.

Hello, 

 

If this printer is new one and you have tried setting it up for the first time, then i am sure the SETUP cartridges should be available in the box. 

The printer need these SETUP ink cartridges from first time printer initialization. 

The best option is to return the printer form where you purchased.
