print head failure

HP photosmart 7520
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My printer was working fine and then I received a message 'print head failure'. I did everything it said to fix it, to no avail. What happened?

Thank you

print head failure

@evbuckler I have a few steps to help identify and resolve this issue:

Step 1: Reset the printer

Reset the printer to try and recover from printer failures.

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  3. Wait 60 seconds.

  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

    NOTE:

HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

  5. Turn the printer on.
