Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We are in a rural area and must rely on our mobile phone hotspots for internet access.   Previously, we had a mobile "jetpack" from Verizon which was supplied by my husbands employer.  I printed wirelessly from my asus laptop regularly using the cellular wifi from the jetpack. in, july my husband left his old job and we had to return the jetpack.  I have an iphone 6s andsprint gives me 50 g monthly data allowance on my hotspot, so i tried conecting my printer to the cellular wifi on my hot spot similar to the cellular jetpack wifi.  The printer sees the signal, but when I choose it and enter the wifi password it grinds away for about 60 seconds before telling me the connection couldnt be completed.  Why is this happening? If I could print wirelessly using the cellular jetpack wifi, why would the wifi from my phone be any different

Is your Phone Hotspot 2.4Ghz?

Try a google search of your Phone model to find out.
