I have a HP Photosmart C4380 and I am having problems with it being offline. I have followed all the steps that this website has told me to do and still it remains offline. When I run the diagnostic utility program it says that it is online and tells me everything is ok, it is clearly not. Does anyone have any other suggestions out there? Please keep in mind I am not a techie so plain language word be much appreciated! Thanks.

HI,
First download this tool.
Its the network diagnstic tool.
Let it run and if this also says there is no issue, it could be that some kind of security software is blocking the programs connection to the printer and it can not see the status. Let me know exactly what this tools says.

My OS is Windows 7, my connection is wireless and I am getting the message on the HP service center, which comes up when I left click on the image of the printer in my Devices and Printers. I have tried all the recommended solutions on the HP website, including removing software and reinstalling it again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have been having problems with my new router for the past two days. I have entered the SSID and the WPA and nothing.
I purchased a new router because the old one was not working anymore.
But when I tried to configure the printer, the HP network configuration page would not pass.
I tried unistalling the printer and reinstalling it. But that has not work for me yet.
My my laptop is connected but will only print if the network cable is plugged in to the pc and the printer. Some how its not accepting the wireless connection. If I disconnect it, the error message says,"Printer off line"
Please help me College student with research papers to print..
