My pages come out with "white ribbons" going horizontally on the page - It's like 5 or 6  lines in random places come out with only the upper or lower half of the text line printing.  I have done the cleaning utility and the alignment utility numerous times.

@fishergp Here are a few steps that should help resolve the issue once and for all:

Step 1: Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Report

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. Touch the ATM button () next to the Setup icon () in the lower-left corner of the control panel.

  3. Touch the right arrow button () to select Tools, and then touch OK.

  4. Touch the right arrow button () to select Print Quality Report, and then touch OK. The printer prints the report.

Step 2: Check the Print Quality Diagnostic Report for defects

Review the diagnostic areas of the Print Quality Diagnostic Report to check for defects. Defects on the report can help you identify the print quality issue, and then troubleshoot it.

Thanks so much for the response.  The steps indicated did nothing to fix the issues.  The ink was not low, but just in case it was the issue, and i had nothing else to try, I purchased new ink cartridges.  That fixed the problem.  Maybe i just don't use my printer enough and it got dried out.

@fishergp That's an accurate assumption, we suggest using the printer atleast 2-3 times a week to ensure it doesn't dry out as such,

That said, I'm glad its been sorted and I hope you have a good day, ahead.
