Having issues with Wi-Fi direct password. Had an unknown printing to my printer remotely (home use). Changed from "everyone" being able to print to just me.  I then sent the test print from HP Print and Scan Doctor to make sure it was still connected and it printed 3 pages of gibberish instead. Still haven't been able to connect to EWS to change default password. Can anyone help?

Welcome to the HP support community.

Restore the network settings on the printer to reset the Wi-Fi direct password.

  1. From the Home screen, touch (Wireless) and then touch ( Settings ).
  2. Touch Restore Network Settings, and then follow the onscreen instructions.
  3. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

I hope that helps.
