Thank you for replying. I do not have an instant ink plan, not sure what that is.
I have followed the trouble shooting without success although I have not tried with a new cartridge because I don't have one although I have placed 2 old cartridges in the printer and the issue has not re-occurred.
Therefore the issue seems to be with the cartridge and as I previously mentioned, this is the second time it has happened with the colour 63XL cartridge and they are not cheap to replace.

This looks like a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this issue.
