"gather/scramble scheme : 0000" menu item

HP Recommended

HP has numerous patents to encode hidden data in printouts  to track the pages to the machine and date printed.

HP has a menu item called gather/scramble scheme, which several European customers believe is an encoding scheme to hid information.

Does anyone have information on this topic, such as the type of hidden information, the type of encoding (spatial domain, frequency domain, Discrete wavelet, least significant bit, luminance changes in text, text shifting, edge marking, halftone modifications, dot coding, etc.)

If you can help, i will compensate for your time.
