my HP Officejet Pro 6835 won't allow me to print. I get the message: There is a problem with the printhead

I'm afraid this seems like a hardware issue with the printer. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Reset the printer
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Also, perform step 2 mentioned in this document.
