refilled cartridge prints magenta in yellow position and yellow in magenta position

That would suggest that who ever refilled the cartridges but the wrong ink in the wrong positions. Remove the cartridge and examine the print head closely. You can also lightly touch the head side to a damp paper towel to see the order of the inks. From left to right should be cyan, magenta, yellow
