HP OfficeJet 5200

Hello, In the instructions for my Officejet 5220, a softkey "+" must appears to save an address of a recipient fax number. But such a softkey key '+' does not appear to me.

Please answer.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

1. From the printer control panel display, touch Fax .

2. Touch Phone Book.

3. Touch Contacts .

4. Touch (Plus Sign) to add a contact.

5. Touch Name and then type the name of the phone book contact, and then touch Done .

6. Touch Number and type the fax number for the phone book contact, and then touch OK.

NOTE: Be sure to include any pauses or other required numbers, such as an area code, an access code for numbers outside a PBX system (usually a 9 or 0), or a long-distance prefix.

7. Touch Add

If you do not see the + sign still, I suggest you  update the Printer's Firmware: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Also send me a picture of the printer control panel when trying to add the contact number

Hello, thank you!

But your answer ist no solution.

The Plus Sign comes NOT under "Fax" but under "Scan". That's not good!
