station Zeen battery exploded

HP Recommended
station C510

I have love this printer and taken such nice care of it.  It looked like new and the nice screen was perfect.  I go to send a document and I notice the screen on the Zeen will not light.  As I touch it I see its warped or something.  I pull it off the dock and it looks like the think had been all busted up.  I asked my wife if she had dropped it because i am so careful.  she said she has not touched it.  Thats when I discover the internal batter exploded.  Its one thing when a product gets older and the battery does not charge, At least you can replace it, but this think litterally blew the wholle inside apart.  I feel as though HP should have to stand behind this.  I have many battery opperated items that are even older, but have never had one explode.  PLEASE HELP..........

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

I received a message from tech support telling me to  call, After 20 minutes they gave me a number to call that would help me with this issue, 800-180-1810 when you call it says not in service.  I called back to customer service where I had to start all over, then finally they said the origainal guy would call back in 15-20 minutes and at this point I have heard nothing???
