I h ave been trying to install a firmware update for a while now and it lists my device but I'm unable to highlight it to press update button and printer status shows Up-to_Date already.
Even directly on the printer I checked for updates - and the printer says everything is up to date?
How can I fix this?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the firmware update.
Try these steps to reset the printer -
1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Connect a USB from the printer to the computer. Download and install the update from this link for Win 10 (64-bit).
