OfficeJet 5255 All-in_one Inkjet printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm using the OfficeJet 5255 printer, Windows 10 and the HP Smart software on the desktop.

I scan  a document and use the 'Share' icon in the HP smart software. I select 'Mail' and the email window pops up.

I would like to change the "FROM" address but its grayed out with an undesired email address. How to change that???

Add another account to your Windows Mail setup so you can select the "from" mail account in HP Smart.

For example, if you have an email address that you use with yahoo and another with gmail, add the email account that is missing from Windows mail that you want to use with HP Smart Scan to Email.
