This issue involes HP Digital Sender Flow 8500 fn1. When the end users log onto the device they get cannot connect to LDAP server due to possible server or network problems. Someone else can try it and they log on fine - the previous end user tries again and it works. It is an ongoing intermittent problem. Our sys-admin has verified the LDAP configurations are correct. I cannot find a network configuration that would cause this issue. That scanner is connected to the network via a small Cisco hub. There are two other printers also connected via that same hub and they have no network connectivity issues. I have swapped around the connections with the working printers – the printers continue to work – the scanner continues to have issues. At this point I am at a loss – any useful suggestions would be appreciated.
