Laserjet 3390
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a 3390 that goes to ready.  Then when you send it a print job, it stops with ready flashing and the amber exclamation point flashing and says "no paper pickup" press checkmark to continue.   You press checkmark, and it grumbles and clicks through three feed attempts and you hit the checkmark again and it will feed one page and stop with the same error and you have to go through a few checkmark presses to finish feeding and printing the next page.  Then the cycle starts over again, one page at a time.

Doesn't make any difference whether a small amount of paper or a large amount is in the paper tray.  The paper tray is set to the correct size.

Sure it needs some maintenance somewhere.  Any simple parts replacements will fix this?

Remove the paper tray, there is a grey or black rubber D shaped roller in the middle of the front of the printer, remove the roller, clean it with warm water. You can even rotate the rubber only from worn out part to not worn out ( you will see when you remove it) install back and if it works that is temporary only you will need to buy a new roller it's few $
