I recently made a move long distance. The moving company may have jostled my 3600n, or even turned it upside down for all I know. As I was setting it up, I opened the front panel door just to 'check' on things and make certain all was in order....including the ink cartridges. After that, the front door would not close. I double checked all the ink cartridges, and all seems to be in order. The top left is what seems to be in question. Any clues? I cannot seem to find anything in the manual for what to possibly check on. Thank you!

Most common cause is a broken cartridge lock that prevents the cartridge from seating properly and thus the door will not close. You can see them in this picture, when door is open the should be retracted up and when you close the door the lock the cartridge in place. Remove all the cartridges and close the door so you can watch how they work. The top one is often white while the others are black. If broken you can try using a thin piece of wood to hold the lock up while you insert the cartridge.

I have done all this except for getting the black cartridge out. It is the culprit and why the door won't close. It is SO stuck!!! Unsure if i am just not strong enough, but I don't want to use too much force either - whether to push in or remove. I cannot remove it. But I am afraid of breaking something else....Normally those little blue toggles on the sides just slip in and out.
