Any advice on what to do when my printer will only give 52 Scanner error Turn off them turn on?  Obviously I’ve tried this.  This error screen returns after turning it off for 3+ minutes and back on.  It will not let me do anything.  Thanks in advance.

This is an error with the laser scanner that writes the information onto the cartridge drum. The scanner likely needs to be replaced.

@Repairatrooper  was right about that.

If you want to fix yourself you can try to take the scanner out of the printer and give it a check to see if there're cockroach live in there and their body or legs will block the scanner function well, or the scanner head may stuck because of lubricating oil dried then you can give it a tiny drop of oil to see if it helps. Look, it's very tiny drop of oil!

Of course, before your doing all these, please check the cable connected between formatter and scanner may be it it just loosens.
