Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed a new magenta cartridge, then all pages printed in magenta background.  Took the cartridges out, put back in, then only printed in cyan background.  After more taking the cartridges out, wiping them clean, putting back in, unplugging and plugging back in, now it only prints with a black background.  What is wrong and can I fix it?

If you have already performed the steps from the document Fixing Poor Print Quality and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
