Product: HP LASERJET M608
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2016

The company has just acquired a new HP LaserJet M608 Model K0Q18A printer. It has been configured to use Font Number (96) KOUFI Bold with Font Pitch (12). For some reason any reports that get generated containing the Asterisk Symbol (*) are omitted on the printed OUTPUT. In viewing the output file before printing to the printer, the Asterisks exists in the physical file but are not produced in the actual report that is printed. Why would Asterisks be omitted by the printer?
