I have an HP Laser Jet 500 colorMFP570dn that prints a pink background and a dark pink vertical line on my documents.  Any idea if I need a new fuser assembly/kit.  I ran the clean page option twice, but it just prints the entire page in pink with a thick black wide line going across the page.

Sounds more like  cartridge issue than a fuser issue. The fuser cannot change the color of toner, it only bonds to the paper the toner that is applied during the transfer process. As the background is pink it would suggest a problem with the magenta cartridge.

I agree with Repairatrooper. That is a typical indication of a defective magenta toner cartridge. Replace the magenta cartridge and you should be good.
