Hello,
I bought the wrong toner cartridge from Staples a few months ago for my printer ( hp LaserJet Pro MFP M125nw).  It uses the hp 83a, but I had read that the hp 83x is higher yield and the two are interchangable. It wasn't until I went to install it last night that I realized it didn't fit my printer and on doing further investigation realized that although they are interchangeable for some printers, they are not for mine.
Staples will not give me a refund as the product has been opened, even though it's never been used.
Is there any other way of getting a replacement from hp?? It was an honest (albeit expensive) mistake.
I can provide a copy of the receipt and (depending on shipping costs ) am happy to send the cartridge back to hp if needed.
