Hi,  I have inherited an aged CM6030F.  I can't see the Administration Menu on the Control Panel.  Is it possible this has been disabled previously?  How do I find it, please?  Thanks

The administration menu can be turned off through the embedded web server.  My fear is that if the previous owner did that they may have locked access to the embedded web server as well and without the password you can do nothing short of a cold reset. It has been a while and I will need to look up the steps required to reset.

Hi Repairtrooper and thank you for your quick response.  I have done a Cold Reset - or at least I think I have - and the problem still persists.  I will contact the previous owner and ask if they have a password for it.  If they do, what would be the procedure please, and also do you have any instructions on a cold reset in case I haven't performed it properly?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I sent you the instructions, let me know if that does not work and I can advise on another possible solution.

Hi, thank you for your further response.  I performed multiple Cold Resets, to no avail.  However, I input the printer IP address onto the internet where I could view all the printer settings from my computer.  I made the change there and now have an Administration Menu on the control panel.

Thanks again for your help.

To confirm in case others see this post. The user resolved the issue by going into the embedded web server, which is done by typing the IP address of the printer into the address bar of a browser. As long as the previous user has not set a password you would be able to make the changes. If there was an unknown password then the cold reset would be required first.
