I can not find the downloadable drivers for my printer

Mac is not a supported OS for this printer model.

You will need to check with Apple Updates for possible compatible printer drivers on this one.  That or perhaps someone has posted a 3rd party solution that can convert a modern OS to work with an old printer like the LJ1000.
