Can't connect Lenovo laptop to HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M281

I moved my Laptop and HP printer home from the office where they worked fine. They are both connect to my home Wifi but cannot connect to each other-I can't print.  I tried downloading drivers, got a dialog box that had an agreement, but the "Next" button was beneath the margin on my screen. Couldn't uninstall, only took 3 minutes, but got a dialog box that included "returned error 5 for package" with other information. Called HP, they said to restart the computer, didn't help.

Also tried Wifi Direct by Bluetooth, got the number on the screen of the printer and entered it in the box on the computer screen, but the App didn't launch. Crap.

Welcome to HP support community.

Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.

• In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
• Select your HP printer.
• Select Uninstall.
• In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
• In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
• Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
• Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
• Click on Drivers tab.
• Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
• Select OK.
• Remove all instances of the same.
• Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
• Close Devices and Printers. 
• Restart the PC again.
